Malaysia trip

Erm..erm...aiyah! I forgot when i went to Malaysia with 30 plus people. So ya we went to Malaysia. It was a last minute thing. Free trip mah. Who wouldnt want. I had to rush like crazy.

So once I packed, dressed nicely and made up, I went to the school to be ready for action. But felt really screwed up once there cuz we had to change to some orange, vomit inducing polo tee. Initially, they had a choice of orange and pink, but they chose the former. Pink would have been better. :/ Right.

Anw, we went straight to Johor area to visit this mental hospital. Its for people who commited serious crimes while they were "mad" and thus had to saty there. We had some briefing by the nurse and then we roamed around.

I told you the orange colour CMI!!!

The path leading to inside

The place patients call home

The rooms were terrible to say the least. I know it's a government hospital and they lack funding, but at least remove the stale urine stench that was circulating around the cells. Cobwebs were everywhere, and moulds were happily sprouting around in every nook and cranny. I bet there's some unidentified crawling animal around, considering how unclean the place is. Im not against anything, but at least make the place more usable for human living lah. The patients are not complaining though.

Im not being mean, just honest.

The entrance..i think..haha..forgot..

The kitchen managed by the cured patients. They did a good job.

Waa fark, the tees really CMI

This is the room of last resort where they give jolts of electricity to ur brain cells when medication doesnt work. Fried medula oblongata anyone?

It was a good enriching visit.. Soon after we left the place and headed to our Mahkota hotel at Melacca. A damn good apartment hotel. Y good? Cuz its my first time going to a "star" hotel. The beds were haawt. I tried jumping and it didnt break. And of course, there's privacy just for me and my new found gay partner after Ahmingge.

Sweet

Sweeter

Sweetest: My partner

We were in our rooms for a while, cuz the little girls in the group wanted to enjoy their greatest hobby: shopping.

Ugh! So we all shopped (while I windowshopped) from 6 pm to 10 pm..

YEOWCH! I can vomit blood if anyone ask me along to look at pretty lil dresses or itsy bitsy cutie pumps ever again. I really couldnt tahan. I mean shopping was ok, but marathon shopping was too much for my brain cells. We did this for 4 to 5 hours for 4 days! And the girls were smiling everyday.

GAWD!! Enough of shopping..

The next day we left Mahkota hotel and headed to the DRC of Malaysia.

It's at Tampin. I laughed initially at the sight of the sign cuz I thought it was spelt as tampon.

Erm, trivial matter. Anyway, we had to be in threes to walk around, and there were police in charge of us bringing us everywhere. The place was run by ex inmates, though being monitored by a law enforcers. The ex inmates were very friendly. Heck, the inmates themselves were very nice.

Learnt a lot of things and then off went to the private hospital for the old. Some sort like a hospice I think.

The porch..nice huh?

Nice oso huh

Looks like some resort

One of the many recreation rooms

The eating place

Eh look here leh, my cam ex one, u noe.. -_-

This is the nurse manager, or sister. The place is a chatolic oriented place. so she was the big one around there. She's a damn nice lady.

Aww, isnt she cute...I meant the green shirt lady lah..

Most of the oldies could speak english very well, including the one above. She could sew very well too. And that explains the crowd around her at that time. All of them were very happy living there. Must be the kind treatment they got. But some were extremely happy. I wonder why.

No wonder..

After having enough of looking around, we headed off to our hotel which was just beside the twin towers. If you are so suakoo and dunno what twin towers is, here is the building. Haha..

We didnt get to go in, but we got to do the next best thing, and it was entering the hotel beside it.

The lobby looks grand

The hawt beds

As usual, we didnt spend enough time on the beds. We went shopping at Sunway shopping center or whatever the name is. In between, we went to visit the government hospital.

The place quite sian. Not much difference compared to Singapore, except maybe a stay there cost 3 ringgit. And the nurses still wear the head cone thingy. Lol..

Notice how the huge funnel manage to filter out the white precipitate after the acid-base reaction..

The funnels add beauty to the gorgeous pink uniforms..ARGH!!!

They too have student nurses. Their colours are more erm, colourful. For pink uniforms, it means they are from university. For yellow, it means they're from a polytechnic. These don't even include the private school's uniforms. So yeah, they have a lot schools there.

It's tough being a nurse there. Not only are you short handed, but you earn pittance.

Overall, it was a great trip there. Saw cool hospitals, made cool friends, (window)shop cool stuff and had cool buffets throughout.

Thanks dudes and dudette for the friendship and entertainment during the trip..And the others who were camera shy..:S
