Ashes

My place is full of ashes recently. My guess is that it's some cultural traditional thing they do for their ancestors during CNY. The pathways were covered with ashes, literally. Its just as irritating as the loud karaokes during malay weddings. They should be more thoughtful and burn the papers somewhere where no one will walk on. What made me even more pissed off was that yesterday I accidentally stepped on the ashes cuz I couldnt see anything. It was dark. I heard lots of stories about stepping on offerings and stuffs. So my imgination ran wild. Would the spirits haunt me? Would my feet turn black and necrotic and eventually fall off and being lived off by maggots? Will I strike toto and 4D at the same time this week? Will Siok Kuan beat me in a game of dota in real life using Soul Keeper?
