Was held at NUS. went with my JC friends. The concert was very boring. Its like orchestra with those french horns and clarinets and stuffs. Its not that the instuments are boring, its just the sounds, the symphony blah blah. I mean, they dun sound like pop or rock songs nowadays. why are these songs famous? because it's catchy or have good lyrics or are popular with the layman around the globe. And the symphony band doesnt sound like the latest top ten hits on radio. its just too mundane for me. To give a little credit, i think classical music is nice. But honking of trumpets and blowing of oboue really dont fit my bill. What pissed me the most was that people gave me the uncultured look when i told right in the face it is boring. I was being honest and I didnt noe it hit their personal strings. Come on, the audience is so few, and I bet most of them came just to support their friends who came to perform. So stop advising me to appreciate the finer things in life and dun say I have bad taste. Fuck these hypocrites. i have nothing against people who have different taste, but to comment on someone about what taste to like to be of higher class just disgust me. I just hope people dun hate me cuz im not what im supposed to be.
