I just checked my result of the marathon from the website. It said that I was disqualified. I dont know why. Maybe I wore 2 tags at the run because some stupid fuckers who signed up for SCM didnt want to do it last minute and hence Dominic asked me to help those who could not make it. Probably due to that, or else I had no other explanation for it. I didnt even cheat my way by going to Macdonalds to eat or taking the taxi straight to the padang. Its painful when you see in the website youre actually disqualified and you put in the effort to run 20km and walk the rest of the race. I thought this year's army half was fucked up enough by not showing my net time result. Well, this SCM was worse. Oh well, im sick of this already. Hurt my deformed legs like hell and sunburnt on just the face and arms and neck, the last thing is needed was to show in the website where the whole world could see that i was disqualified due to missing split times, which in other words means that I cheated. The only saving grace was that I didnt pay for the run. I kept telling people that I wanna quit to save my joints, but deep down in my heart I still wanna do it again next year. And get a sub 4 hour timing. Hahah.
To those who said that I walked halfway through, hey at least i did the damn thing and I did not cheat like most people do. For someone who isnt physically genetically gifted like me, i think I did a damn good job. Personally, walking a longer distance is much worse than running the whole distance. For the first time I tried walking 20km or so, and it sucked. When most have finished by noon, people like us had to endure the sun, lack of water points, the painful feeling that one km would take forever to complete and what nots already is a feat, hence whether you get it at 8 hours, or 9 hours or 10 hours, id still salute myself. Because to me, finishing it is already a feat. Main point of all the words typed is not for me to be credited, but stop slamming on people who had to walk.It can be harder than running.
Anyway, I dunno how the sizes of finisher tees could run out. As highlighted by the brochure, the size of the runnng singlet would be the size of our finisher tees. So it didnt make sense to run out of sizes. And the positions of their makeshift toilets could have been better instead of putting them at the end of a slope. Thats all for today's rambling.
