Burnt papers

As I walked towards home in the middle of the night, I saw pieces of burnt papers flying around. I chose to ignore it. That was where I was wrong. I didnt expect that this hungry ghost festival to happen around this point of time judging from the mini fire ceated along the pavement. It was a breezy cool night. It was shiok. As I was walking the corridor to my house, I felt something soft and spongy. No, its not my man boobs, but it was those chinese cakes they put on the altar as offerings. I got the shock of my life when the whole tray of offerings dropped from my neighbour's ledge. i placed it back onto the tray and arranged them nicely back on the ledge. But it was rather too late as the cakes were broken into pieces. I got scared. I dunno whether to be angry at my neighbour for placing things like this at a squeezed place or i should say sorry to my neighbour and plead them not to use my soft spongy boobs as replacement. In the end i just walked away to my home and said sorry in the air in case I made anyting angry or what not. Yeah, I believe in this kinda things. Next time i should open my eyes big big to note the offerings. But i also hope that these people will be considerate not to put religious or respected things in the middle of a walkway. Nothing to do with religion, but i think its jus basic courtesy. And it goes the same way to malay weddings which blast outdated karaoke songs till martians from mars could hear it. and being a scaredy cat that I am, im definitely worried of what gory things will happen to me after i dropped the food for the intended ones. Hope everything's cleared up by tommorow, or the clumsy me will trip into the burning fire in no time. hahaha..
